The price of pesticides on domestic market rose steadily in August

According to the monitoring of ICAMA in July, the national agrochemical market remained table, including the continuously active fungicide market and the cooling insecticide and herbicide markets, and the overall market price rose steadily.

When it comes to the wholesale link, the total sales volume dropped by 9.28% on a year-on-year basis, of which, the sales volume of fungicides rose rapidly by 40.89%, that of insecticides decreased by 6.43%, and that of herbicides reduced by 19.24%. The inventory of all pesticides witnessed contraction, and that of insecticides, fungicides and herbicides shrunk by 13.41%, 12.1% and 11.39% respectively. The wholesale price remained stable in general, and that of insecticides and fungicides rose by 0.33% and 0.39% respectively, and that of herbicides decreased by 0.11%.

In terms of the retail link, the sales volume of insecticides and herbicides decreased sharply by 16.62% and 19.67% respectively, but that of fungicides remained stable. The retail price rose steadily, and that of insecticides and fungicides rose by 1.5% and 0.81% respectively, and that of herbicides remained the same level with that of the previous month.
